A 250g bar holds a quarter of a kilo of fine silver, which is just over 8 troy ounces. It's not as common as 100g or 1kg bars, but we still see plenty of them.

A 250g silver bar contains 250g of fine silver (8.04 troy ounces). Its value mainly comes from that silver and the silver price on the day, and our offer is based on the live price when we reply.

Some bars are worth more than their silver content, such as sealed bars from popular mints, older bars that are no longer made, and limited editions. Photos and the maker's name help us spot these.
