Which silver coins are worth selling?

British coins struck before 1920 were made from 92.5% silver, and those from 1920 to 1946 from 50% silver. That means old shillings, florins, half crowns, sixpences, threepences and crowns from those years contain real silver and are worth more than their face value. Modern bullion coins such as Britannias, Maple Leafs and American Eagles are usually 99.9% silver.
