How much is a gold sovereign worth?
A full sovereign contains about 7.32 grams of pure gold, so its base value moves with the gold price. Rare dates and proof coins can be worth more.
Which sovereigns are worth more than gold value?
Some older dates, rare mint marks (such as some Australian, Indian or Canadian mints), and proof coins in their original boxes. Photos of both sides help us check.
Do you buy sovereigns set in rings or pendants?
Yes. We value the coin and the mount separately.
Should I clean my sovereigns?
No. Cleaning can scratch coins and lower their value to collectors.
